Recycled instruments and social entrepreneurship

Musicling is a 15 months Erasmus+ Youth for Innovation development KA2 project aiming to boost the entrepreneurial spirit of youth by empowering them with the necessary knowledge, tools and soft skills to start their own business related to recycled instruments.

The main outcome of the project is this How-To platform, to get inspiration and learn how to create recycled music instruments from trash and how to play them with videos, tools, handouts and step-by-step instructions.

In addition there will be a section with basic knowledge on social & environmental entrepreneurship to start a business with all the necessary knowledge including management of social networks & marketing to promote it.

The objectives of the project

  1. Enhance the entrepreneurial spirit of youth and empower them with the necessary training (theory, tools and skills) to start their own projects on recycled instruments.
  2. Strengthen the capacities of youth in the field of digital entrepreneurship and creativity.
  3. Offer opportunities for social integration and entrepreneurship among youth.
  4. Create an international network of recycled instruments with tools and resources open source.

One of the final activities during this project is a Blended Mobility of Youth, taking place from the 24th until the 30th of October 2022, where 20 participants from Italy, North Macedonia, Greece and Spain will have the chance to create, test and play all the instruments created during the previous months.

Participants will also have to co-organise a final dissemination event with a JAM session taking place on the 29th of October in Gandia open to the public. Attendants to this public event will be able to jump to the scenario and try all the recycled instruments created by the participants.
